In February 2023, twelve of the Vaal Dam’s sixty sluice gates were suddenly flung open, obliterating properties as millions of litres of water swept away everything in its path. We worked with Carte Blanche to capture drone footage of the devastation, along with interviews with residents.
We shot drone footage and did camera work for a Carte Blanche piece that investigated eleven of the country’s state-owned agricultural colleges to uncover neglect and mismanagement. We’re proud to have contributed to a powerful piece of journalism that earned the producer a Taco Kuiper nomination.
In 2022, Anglo American launched NuGen—a pioneering hydrogen-powered ultra-class mine haul truck. We worked with them to shoot an inspiring and informative launch video that captured the groundbreaking innovation and immense potential of NuGen.
We had the privilege of documenting an inspiring collaboration between Knorr-Bremse South Africa and Diepsloot Safe-Hub, an initiative that drives social change in the township. As part of this project, we had the opportunity to capture interviews and aerial footage that showcased the impact of the collaboration.
We had the opportunity to capture the action of the Gem Diamonds Kalahari Challenge, a three-day mountain bike race held in Gaborone, Botswana. This prestigious event, organised by Super Sport, epitomises world-class excellence and enabled us to capture three days of incredible drone footage.
For Ndlovu Youth Choir’s entry into America’s Got Talent, we shot evocative content that included aerial cinematography of Limpopo, interviews, and inspiring footage that captured the reality of life in rural South Africa—along with the unwavering passion and resilience of the Ndlovu Youth Choir.
